Welcome New Friends!
I decided to start a blog where I can share with you my beauty buys, favorites and occasionally things I'd never buy again.
Why I want to do it?
for fun, to release my urge to talk about beauty and makeup, to see what's your experience with products mentioned and to warn you, so it helps you not to make mistake of buying useless products (if you think your skin may be similar to mine!).
What's my skin?
my face is odd, I guess it depends on the monthly hormonal war in my body, so regularly it breaks out on the chin, sides of my face (close to ears), on my temples and depending on products I use (or food I eat) it shows its anger by breaking out on my cheeks (itchy red spots). My skin tends to get red in those areas too, which makes me look like a beetroot constantly (especially after shower) and this is the reason for me to look for the PERFECT foundation/BB cream which is not full of bad ingredients yet still cover redness (is that even possible?). In addition to those itchy red spots and redness (sometimes better, sometimes worse) my skin likes to get dry in these areas when exposed to cold temperature, talc in powders, some foundations, pure oils etc.
My forehead is ok, except the fact that it flaked when I used pure oils as moisturizer following the facial oil trend (I stopped), it also reacts badly on talc (found in most of the drugstore powders, sadly).
Another thing is that even though there is some oil on my face (T-zone) this area also feels dry which makes me confused.com, because how something that is oily and shines can be also tight and dry?
Having that weirdly and odd constructed skin I look for perfect skincare and makeup to sooth my face, moisturize without overload, brighten and rejuvenate without irritation, prevent aging (I'm 27 but mama said use eye cream as soon as possible!) and cover post-acne scars and current breakouts without the mask-effect and cakyness.
my body is ok, I must say luckily I never have problems with dry or flaky skin, except my legs which I must say could be in better condition if I wasn't so lazy using body butters or lotions (I'm sorry legs!). Skin on my legs also lacks of firmness which I should correct by using the right cosmetics, but I lack of patience to wait for results - my goal is to change it.
During my monthly hormonal battles I also tend to break out on my shoulders which I absolutely hate and this makes me embarrassed, so I stopped wearing tops uncovering this areas (hate you hormones!), I feel like this area of my body became more oily since I stopped using contraceptive pills.
So knowing my skin and me a little bit more you can now see if this blog could be helpful for you! If you have similar to mine skin concerns and think you also feel lost looking for best beauty products follow my blog, maybe my reviews and tests will bring you some new knowledge!
Thanks for reading.
Have a good night !
